Mikey in Boyzone

Before Boyzone:
Mikey's always loved songwriting, and was once the lead singer with a band called Ivory, performing covers around local pubs. Before joining Boyzone, he'd been a milkman, barman, supermarket shop assistant, department store porter and a mechanic!

"The best thing about our fans is their loyalty and support, they're so dedicated! Some of them do silly things, though. They travel all over the place to see us and that's not safe for young girls... And they know more than we do about what we're doing!"
